ATLANTA, GA – AUGUST 13, 2019 – Visix, Inc. has won two 2019 Best of InfoComm Awards from rAVe Publications. The company’s Voice-Activated Wayfinding was chosen as Best Digital Signage Software Product, and their Nano product was named Best New Digital Signage Media Player.
“Thanks to Gary Kayye and the rAVe team for these awards,” says Debbie DeWitt, marketing communications manager for Visix. “InfoComm is a showcase for over 1000 vendors, and it’s an honor to have been selected from such a varied and impressive group. We showed more products than ever before at the show this year, and we’re thrilled that our VUI and Nano made an impact.”
Visix’s Voice-Activated Wayfinding shown at InfoComm was nicknamed Andrew after the developer who created it. The technology uses a voice user interface (VUI) to interpret voice commands and questions, and then returns results on digital signs. The VUI can be integrated with any interactive signage project, and gives users a hands-free, germ-free way to interact with touchscreens and kiosks.
The Nano digital signage player is an ultra-small form factor measuring just 2.75 x 2.75 x 1.25 inches. It fits behind screens, provides reliable 1080p playback, and is an ideal player for less video-intensive digital signage applications.
Award winners were chosen by rAVe Publications representatives who visited every booth at InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, then collectively selected their top picks for each category. For a complete list of winners, visit ravepubs.com/best-infocomm-2019-awards.
